Muscat: There are chances of dust storms over deserts and open areas in Oman, the Meteorology department said on Thursday.
Oman Meteorology said in a statement : "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with a chance of convective clouds development over Al Hajar Mountains towards afternoon. Dust rising is expected over deserts and open areas. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches along the coasts of Dhofar Governorate ."
The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 44 degree Celsius and 35 degrees respectively in Muscat, 47 degrees and 30 degrees in Sohar, 43 degrees and 24 degrees in Haima, 43 degrees and 27 degrees in Nizwa, 43 degrees and 30 degrees in Ibri, and 39 degrees and 23 degrees in Thamrait.
