Muscat: Some parts of the Sultanate will receive rainfall for the third day in a row due to the trough of low pressure affecting weather patterns.
In its daily weather forecast, Oman Meteorology said, “Clouds continue to flow and intensify over most of the Sultanate’s governorates with chances of scattered rainfall today.”
On Thursday, the highest amount of rainfall was recorded in the wilayat of Rustaq at 14 mm, followed by Al Hamra at 10 mm and Buraimi at 4 mm.
A warning was also issued for heavy rains in Dhofar today. "There is a possibility of heavy rains accompanied by active winds in the Governorate of Dhofar, concentrated overs mountains and surrounding areas during afternoon and evening hours."
