Muscat: The Ministry of Health is looking to administer around 3 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines by the end of August, 2021.
In a statement, the Oman News Agency (ONA) said, “The Ministry of Health is seeking to administer 2.82 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines, by the end of August 2021. Remaining doses will be administered in batches before the end of this year.”
As part of the national immunisation plan, Oman seeks to vaccinate 3.2 million people, equivalent to 70 per cent of the population, except those under the age of 18 years. Currently, those who have had Covid-19 earlier, will be given one dose as it has been deemed sufficient.
